Artwork guidelines

Set up your files for perfect prints

Follow these guidelines to ensure your artwork prints sharp, vibrant, and exactly as you designed it — every time.

Accepted file formats

We accept the following file types. Vector formats are strongly preferred.

Vector preferred

Save as print-ready PDF with fonts embedded or outlined. Most universally compatible format.

.AIRecommended

Vector

Adobe Illustrator native file. Include linked images or embed them before sending.

.EPSRecommended

Vector

Encapsulated PostScript. Ideal for logos and line art. Fonts must be outlined.

.PNGAccepted

Raster

Minimum 150 DPI at final print size. Supports transparency — great for logos on colored backgrounds.

Raster

Minimum 150 DPI at final print size. Use highest quality setting. No transparency support.

Resolution & size

For raster images (PNG, JPG), resolution is measured in dots per inch (DPI) at the final printed size. A file that looks sharp on screen may print blurry if it's too low resolution.

Not sure about your file's resolution? Right-click the image → Properties → Details (Windows) or Get Info (Mac) to check.

Color mode

Our printers use CMYK ink. If your file is in RGB mode, colors may shift slightly during conversion — especially bright oranges, blues, and greens.

Set your document to CMYK before designing for the most predictable color output.

RGB

Accepted

We'll convert RGB files to CMYK automatically, but slight color shifts may occur on saturated hues.

Pantone

Pantone / PMS

Accepted

We'll match Pantone colors as closely as possible using our CMYK process. Exact Pantone matching is not available.

Safe zone & bleed

To avoid important content being cut off during finishing, keep all text, logos, and key design elements inside the safe zone. If your design has a background color or image that extends to the edge, add bleed.

Keep all critical content (text, logos, faces) at least 0.5" from any edge.

Bleed — 0.25" outset

Extend background colors and edge-to-edge images 0.25" beyond the trim line.

Fonts & text

Outline your fonts

Convert all text to outlines/curves before saving. This prevents font substitution if we don't have your typeface installed.

Embed fonts in PDFs

If you prefer to keep live text in a PDF, ensure all fonts are fully embedded when exporting.

Minimum text size

Avoid text smaller than 8pt for body copy. Very small text may not reproduce clearly on fabric prints.

Avoid thin strokes

Hairline strokes (under 0.5pt) may not print visibly. Use at least 1pt stroke weight on fine lines.

What happens after you upload

We review your file

Our team checks resolution, color mode, bleed, and font outlines within a few hours of receiving your order.

Digital proof sent

We send a digital proof showing exactly how your artwork will look printed. You'll receive this within 24 hours.

You approve

Reply with your approval or request changes. We won't print until you give the green light.

Printed & shipped

Once approved, your order goes to print and ships within 2–3 business days.
